It only seems like yesterday when we started this awesome podcast and already we are onto Episode 4.
Rolling right on in, this week on our Puppy Panel, we meet Emma and Orlagh.
- Emma Clifford from Limerick is the Mammy to Polo – the Limerick representative in the Nose of Tralee competition here in Ireland. The Nose of Tralee is the doggy equivalent to the famous Rose of Tralee competition in Ireland. Emma tells of Polo’s journey to becoming the Limerick Nose, the adventures they have along the way and what exactly she had to do to enter Polo.
- We check in with Orlagh from Happy Pawws Dog walking in Dublin and chat to her about a poor yorkshire terrier who was brutally attacked by 2 Akita dogs in her area – Citywest in Dublin last week. The incident left the dog with horrific injuries and poor Rocky ultimately lost his battle. We chat about the affect this has on both the family and on dog walkers, particularly with the safety measures that must be put in place when in this profession and protecting other owners dogs from this type of attack.
- Our featured business returns and we’re talking about all things from the rear side this week – we chat to Ciaran from Mutt Mitts Ireland about Dog fouling problems in Ireland, what the penalties are for not scooping up after your dog, and why we need more responsible dog owners to clean up. We look at what the proposed solutions are for this environment issue, why our County Councils should be placing more of an emphasis on dealing with this issue and why exactly you should be using Mutt Mitts to scoop your poop.
- We give a shoutout to our Birthday dog of the week – Dyson – a northern Inuit and we give a huge shoutout to Max & Cooper our Dogs of the week. Our Adoption corner is in association this week with Madra Dog rescue in Galway and we look the various doggies they have available for adoption.
